The Entrepreneurship development cell at KSRIET is in association with the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Tamil Nadu. Organised a webinar on insights of "Tamil Nadu Student Innovators (TNSI) 2020" on 4th Sep 2020 through online mode. 150 students from final and third year participated. The outcome of the event: 45 teams, each consisting of 3 members, attended the two-day training program on business plan writing at IEDP hub Salem. 25 teams successfully submitted their innovative ideas with business plans. Three teams were shortlisted for pitching at IEDP hub Coimbatore. In the final, the idea of "Autonomus Irrigation" won one lakh rupees.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP MOTIVATIONAL PROGRAM

On behalf of KSRIET EDC we have organized and entrepreneurship scope on organic forming & Entrepreneurship – Export & Import on 10.07.2018. We invited Mr.R.A.Shanmugasuntharam & Mr. K.Sathiyaselvam as chief guests for this program 100 students from various departments were attended this program.
Mr. R.A.Shanmugasuntharam. He explained how to start a business and how to run a business efficiently. Through his speech students were getting motivated by activities to become an entrepreneur students also interacted well.
Mr.K.Sathiyaseelan His speech is about organic forming. He created awareness about organic products and disadvantages of in organic products. This session was very much useful for all. He explained the needs and procedure of organic forming.

SEMINAR ON CONVERTING PROPOSAL INTO HARDWARE

Entrepreneurship Development Cell at KSRIET organized a seminar about “Converting proposal into hardware” on 21.12.2016. The main theme of the seminar is to guide the students in the path of entrepreneurship. Here we guided the faculties to motivate the student’s project in a manner of product development and to give awareness about fund proposal for their project. By making students project as product, we can make EDC into “Next Gen IEDC”.
AWARENESS CAMP ON ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE- ACUPUNCTURE

Entrepreneurship Development Cell at KSRIET organized “Awareness camp on Alternative medicine – ACUPUNCTURE” on 14.12.2016. The faculties from various departments from KSRIET were participated. The acupuncture expert Healer Tharmar V. M.D.(Acu) handled the session there he explain the various health measurements. The faculties those who suffered by physical illness and other medical issues were discussed and required treatment were provided and guided to overcome the medical issues.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP UNDERSTANDING START-UPS

Entrepreneurship development cell of KSRIET conducted the guest lecture on the title “Entrepreneurship Understanding start-Ups” for third year students (85 students) of all departments. Dr.M.Ramakrishnan , Associate professor, KSR School of Management, KSRCT shared the detailed information about the entrepreneurship. And also he created awareness about the various schemes followed by government for budding engineers to emerge as young entrepreneurs. This lecture fed clear ideas to students for writing proposals to central and state government schemes and how to get funding for their proposals.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Entrepreneurship Development Cell at KSRIET conducted “Blood Donation Camp” in association with JCI, Erode and Government Hospital, Erode on 22.07.2015. It was to create the social awareness among the faculties and students. Dr.R.Jeyabharath (HOD/EEE) inaugurated the “Blood Donation Camp” as a donor. No. of students and faculties were donated their blood with their own interest. More than 60units of blood were collected in various blood group by this Programme.
