The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2011 with initial intake of 60 and extended to 120 in the year 2012. The department of ECE is equipped with the best of resources to enrich the bloodline of the department ensuring high quality education to the students. The department has cohesive team of faculty members, specialized in various fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The faculty members are encouraged to enhance their knowledge by attending Faculty Development programmes in premier institutions. They publish quality research work in reputed journals and international and national conferences.

The department has spacious laboratories, class rooms, staff rooms, and well stacked department library. The laboratories are well equipped with state-of-art facilities to cater the requirements of the industry. Department has strong interaction with industries and the students are exposed to the cutting-edge technologies applied in industries by way of internships, in-plant trainings and industrial visits. The students, as a part of their curriculum are constantly organizing events through clubs like IEEE, ISTE, IETE, etc. The placement record has also been very impressive ever since the department has emerged. Several value added courses in all growing fields are offered to the students to improve their career competency.
