Lingua Club(A Lantern to Quest…) 

Enhancing Communication Skills is the need of the hour and the major expectation from all the industries. By having understood this need, Lingua Club from the department of English takes all the necessary initiatives to make students proficient in English Language.

As a part of Lingua Club’s activities, Public Speaking Programme is conducted every Thursday in which one faculty member and three students have a platform to share their personal views on different topics. Also, they get an opportunity to remove stage fear and equip their language expertise.

Also, a plenty of competitions are conducted to make students exhibit their hidden potential such as Essay Writing, Slogan Writing, Poem Composing, Spell Bee, Tongue Twister, JAM etc.

Objectives:

• To make the students feel confident and comfortable using English language.
• To provide the students a casual platform to speak English confidently.
• To overcome the fear of English language among the students.
• To enrich the students’ English Vocabulary.
