Overview

• PALSis an educational initiative by volunteers from Alumni Fraternity of various IIT’s, for the benefit of students of engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. This initiative is supported by IIT Alumni Industry Interaction Centre (IITAIIC) and IIT Madras Alumni Charitable Trust (IITMACT). PALS is in its ninth year now. PALS offers a yearlong program with various activities for the students, faculty and management of Engineering Institutions.
• It features various events such as insightful general and technical lectures by a panel of Alumni and IIT Faculty, Industry visits, an Innovation Challenge Competition and various Workshops and Seminars for students as well as for faculty.
• The initiative also provides students with industry projects and internships with the aim to expose them to the industry and changing market conditions.
